The holiday season means spending time with family and friends. In this video, I will show you how to make an Easy Holiday Appetizer, a Brie En Croute Recipe. We are going to bake brie in a puff pastry.
Brie En Croute FAQ:
Do you take the rind off of brie cheese before baking?
A note regarding the rind: I did not cut the rind away before baking. It is perfectly harmless, and you don't notice it much when your brie is baked. When I'm feasting upon brie unbaked, I sometimes trimmed the rind simply because I don't enjoy it.
How do you eat brie en croute?
Brush the outside of the brie en croute with egg wash.
Include your preferred jam and nuts.
Wrap the brie en croute in a puff pastry.
Bake: Cook for 25-30 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Cool down and serve: Relocate brie en croute to a sterilized work surface or serving platter and allow to cool down for 5-10 minutes. Serve with fruit crackers and artisanal bread.
Can you reheat brie en croute?
Heating Leftover Brie En Croute. If you have leftovers, you can loosely wrap it in aluminum foil and heat it in a 350 ° F oven for about 10 to 15 minutes until the brie is drippy again and the puff pastry is warm.
